When our travel bus arrived in Leipzig only at 16.30 a.m. on the third and last day, we were able to enjoy the day again. After the first-class breakfast in the hotel we checked out shortly after 10 o'clock to make our wait for the business world even more. our travel baggage was deposited in the hotel and we left it. The village is located in the heart of Leipzig city centre, where the Reichsstraße meets Grimmaische Straße. In front of the café, some tables and chairs are mounted to a outdoor seating (beer garden, smoking room, all very nice and under large parasols (which currently also function as parasols). The café itself is beautifully decorated, many two-seat benches, on the walls, the walls are decorated with shades of people. Sit outside if the weather allows and order a healthy breakfast for half the price your hotel (e.g. the Steigenberger) charges. You can get your eggs the way you want them, a real espresso doppio macchiato, and honest slices of dark bread. For the afternoon await ice cream sundaes and cake. If you are lucky you'll meet people at the next table and share your concern about Leipzig's total commercialization of Master Bach.
We had made a reservation in June !! with another restaurant for 12 persons, but this was cancelled only 2 days beforehand. I tried several alternatives, but the reply was NO every time. This restaurant has really made an effort to have us and we were seated all together and the food was great and so were the drinks. The portions were generous and the staff friendly and professional. Sehr schönes, zentrales Café, nette Bedienung und leckeres Essen. Das Café Central hat die glutenfreien Gerichte explizit auf seiner Karte ausgewiesen. Man bekommt sehr leckere Galletes und Crêpes die hier mit Buchweizen gemacht werden. Die Zoodles sind ebenfalls glutenfrei. Die Kellnerinnen und Kellner wissen sehr gut Bescheid und eine Kontamination wird bestmöglich vermieden.
Ich hatte einen Glutenfreien Pfannkuchen, man muss dazu sagen das diese mir herzhaft angeboten werden. Dieser war sehr lecker, allerdings hat uns die Bedienung sehr lange warten lassen und auch andere Gäste war davon betroffen und etwas genervt
Super leckere glutenfreie Galettes. Glutenfreie Gerichte sind in der Karte markiert. Habe die Bedienung nochmal extra drauf hingewiesen, das ich auch auf kleine Spuren achten muss. Hat alles super geklappt
