Food was fair in taste, the Sea Scallops entree was not worth the $28. Scallops were cooked great, however I questioned the pairing of potatoes and corn on the cob with the meal. I requested the meal as described on menu. They were out of the wedges and they were out. The substitution was french fries. I recommend reviewing the pairing of this dish. Suggestion, pairing with another type of vegetable like asparagus, beets, or seasonal. You could also pair with a complimentary flavored risotto like lemon or saffron. That might make the dish worth the price.
We were on a trip to Boston and you expect good seafood, right? Worst crab cakes I have ever eaten (no taste and overpowered by a mustard topping) and the mussels were mediocre. Wine was disappointing--probably my fault for ordering the house wine. Saving grace--our server was helpful and attentive and the location was 2 blocks from our hotel so it was convenient. Hate to write bad reviews because I am pretty easy to please (not a foodie), but I would not go back.
Excellent service and my cocktail was nice. However, the food could be improved. Lumps of flour in the clam chowder. Caesar salad didn’t have correct dressing. No bread. Linguini and clams were so salty I could barely taste anything else. And when I asked for grated cheese, I got a small ramekin with some kind of lump cheese...definitely not Parmesan and certainly not grated. I might return for a drink, but not for the food.
This place has a mouse problem! The place was fine for a late dinner in the city and the food was good but I will never be back!!!! The mice we're running around the whole place, must have seen at least 7. I couldn't believe it and we weren't the only customers that saw these furry things. When we told the wait staff they were well aware of the problem. They blamed it on the window and doors being open.

We had a group of eight and all were very pleased with the restaurant overall. Our server was very attentive, personable and professional. The food was excellent, the oysters received many compliments. The cozy, relaxed atmosphere made the evening feel like dinner at a friend's home.
Nothing special. Went for lunch and got a burger and fries. Service was friendly but pretty slow. There seemed to be some confusion with wait staff as to who had which tables. The burger was okay but nothing special. The fries were a bit greasy and limp.
Came upon by accident by having brunch at another location so stopped in for oysters and loved it so much, we returned the next day....oysters delish!!!
Had a great meal before an event. Appetizers and drinks came out quick, good timing on our meals. All enjoyed their food. Will be back!
