Don’t understand me wrong. Food was really tasty, staff was doing what they could do. Wines (or wine) which we choose really good. What I don’t undestand are points below 1) quite poor variety of disher to choose 2) i’d call meals rather small, what in comparison with price is not a good ratio 3) ovwrall price per (not happily filled belly) was around 50 CHF what could equal to plenty of opportunities to eat healthy, full and… quicker 4) I realized the waiting time right after leaving, the thing is if tou don’t have anyone to speak to it might be lenghty….
Atmosphere and service quite okay. However, the quality of the food is not sufficient to really impress in Zurich. The starters were OK. The carbonara was slightly watery and not seasoned enough. The strudel was good. Maybe interesting for a quick lunch. However, given the price, dinner is not recommended. There are really too many good alternatives in the city.
We spontaneously went to Certo again and I have to say it was just great. Great service, attentive and even got a very nice table. The food was excellent. Certo salad eaten with weeks ravioli. Certo house wine was drunk white and red. We were completely satisfied and are already looking forward to the summer terrace again.
We really liked it at Certo. Very nice atmosphere. Very courteous service and nice selection on the menu. I had the vegan tartare as a starter and was thrilled. The pasta Strozzapreti al salsiccia is also highly recommended. The hazelnut tart was amazing! We keep coming back and every time it is a culinary Italian trip
