We learned that Cesare's is celebrating 20 years of operation! It's a small space, but it is packed with tables and still easy enough to move around. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, and a never-ending line of patrons. Be sure to make a reservation--we did and we were seated immediately. I came in with a friend. We were looking for a more upscale place to eat a nice dinner on Clearwater Beach on our third evening here. Our server (Anthony) was delightful!! He matched our admittedly over-the-top energy and was very informative and helpful as we thought our way through our order. This was a nice experience, but the flavor wasn't quite there for me. I don't know what happened here but the service was with an arrogance! We had two toddlers with us and asked for bread. He said we couldn't get any bread without ordering our entrees. So, I ordered mine and it took forever to come out. I said it's okay if it comes out fast because the kids wanted the bread. We ordered bruschetta, caprese, Caesar salad for appetizers. They were good but nothing super special. I was shocked at all of the amazing reviews, but this just missed the mark for me. We got several vegetarian entrees and shared it. When the bill arrived, there were many sharing plate fees which we were not told about. It was on the menu as I go back and read, but just mention it to us....
First of all, what is with the dining room placemats in this restaurant, they are so irritating when you try to put your elbows on the table or even just your hands. For the prices, they charge it should be a little bit classier than having plastic woven placemats on tables, not even a candles on any tables, for the prices your charging it should be a little bit more upscale than the Denny's look. Had a chicken entrée that had a brown sauce with mushrooms and zucchini tasted like a package gravy mix very poor quality for a price of $31.
Having grown up in Westchester County NY with amazing food, I am definitely an Italian food snob. Cesare at the Beach made me feel like I was back dining at all my favorite places. We now live in Miami with mediocre italian food, I know people think it's great. But unless you dine at Raos...it's pretty ok at best. If you are in Clearwater, it is a must for dinner. Thanks to our Venezuelan/Italian waiter who made our dining experience exceptional!

Unfortunately, this restaurant offers the typical poor service and dining experience often found in many Italian establishments. It doesn't represent any specific Italian city. The waiter might have been Italian, but the pasta is definitely not homemade, and it's certainly not cooked al dente. While it’s not located on the beach, it is situated right in front of the bridge. It could be suitable for accommodating large groups.
What a great find. The restaurant is understated in a strip mall and offers outdoor dining. The simple decor does not hint at the amazing food. Everything is made fresh and the sauces can be prepared to your taste a little more of this and a little less of that. We had the lobster ravioli and spaghetti carbonara both were generous portions and amazing flavor. I was there on vacation and the food made me wish I was a local.
We were a party of 23 and every worker was very respectful. About most of the table finished there food not one scrap of food left on the table it was Devine and gorgeously prepared. It was very nice looking the sunset was over the roof and you could feel the wind under your hair. 5 stars will de finally back if we have a big party like we did tonight!
Trust Yelp! I did and ended up here. The service by Anthony was outstanding and the food was delicious. Truly. The bread and dip sauce was so good. I enjoyed a mozzarella caprese appetizer. Next was Pollo Cesare Augusta entree with an in-house made cannoli to end. Sensational They have indoor and patio seating. I will most definitely come back.

This place is a gem. We live an hour away and we will now be dining here regularly. Best Italian food we have ever had. Hands down. True authentic Italian. The chicken parmesan and the sacchatini with vodka sauce were out of this world.the escargot was amazing! The waiter James was phenomenal as well.
THe food is homemade with a great variety to choose from. The manager Ryan is extremely friendly. The staff is excellent as well. I highly recommend it. Russ
