Cha Baa Thai - Table reservation

We have shared takeout from Cha Baa Thai with friends before but never eaten in. We went to the Bedford location tonight for an early dinner and had an absolutely excellent experience. It was quiet (a bit early for usual diners I would think). We were greeted quickly and warmly at the door. Asked to sign in, and taken to our table. The floor space has been rearranged to allow for proper distancing we felt very comfortable with our servers directions. Table service was very prompt and attentive. We ordered spring rolls to start which were fresh and delicious; I would eat the dipping sauce with a spoon! My husband had the red curry with chicken, and I had the Masaman curry with chicken. Cha baa Thai can do almost their entire menu gluten free, except for the spring rolls. I ordered takeout and the employee was very knowledgeable about gluten free, and what was available. Although most Thai food is gluten free, do be sure to tell them as they might modify using a specific sauce like soy sauce. They take extra care when you let them know! My favourite place to get Thai, super authentic and also fairly priced.

I eat there today and I was a bit disappointed. The food was ok, but the service was cold (maybe she has a hard day). But the tea, OMG, I never thought when I order green tea that they will bring LIPTON green tea, is so gross. I really hope they chnage this and bring real green tea as an offer.

I was just there...if you tell your server you need gluten-free, they will make sure it is example- a gluten-free spring roll ...uncooked in fryer, but delicious !!! ...the pad thai is great too !!!

Continues to be a safe, knowledgeable, go-to restaurant for celiac safe gf options. Food is beyond fabulous with zero reaction! Highly recommend.
