Chaat Cafe Dublin - Table reservation

I enjoy this restaurant and usually order through DoorDash, but this time I decided to visit in person with a friend. While the food tasted good, there was a mix-up with my order. The person behind the counter didn’t seem to understand that my order was incorrect. I wanted to order a dinner that included my favorite butter chicken, but I ended up being charged separately for my naan, rice, and entree, resulting in a total that was significantly higher than the dinner price. Interestingly, all the employees got involved, and even the manager in the kitchen agreed with me, yet I was still required to pay the individual prices for each item. We drove nearly three hours to find a restaurant that serves Indian food and were looking forward to some chai tea. To our surprise, the staff informed us that they didn’t have any tea. When my mom asked if they could please make some, they replied with a firm no. It’s puzzling why they can’t serve something that’s listed on the menu.

Very slow serving food. I ordered online twice and both times my order was not found and had to wait 55 mins for food to be made. Staff look unhappy, grumpy faces and quiet rude if u ask me. Food is good but the service sucks. Place needs a little TLC too.

The food was cold and quite bland, relying heavily on extra sauces for any flavor. I also ordered a lassi, which was made with excessively sour yogurt. Unfortunately, it caused me to develop an infection, and I've been bedridden for four days.

the evaluation really does not make fairness for the quality of food here. the sew puri was amazing, so was the aloo tikki chat!
