We went to the top of Mt Rigi and wanted to find an authentic Swiss restaurant, especially with Swiss cheese and meat. We were concerned that the restaurants at the summit were very busy, so they looked elsewhere. A short, 15 min max. Walk down... and around the mountain side brought us here! It's right on the mountain slope. We went straight through her cows that graze on the hill, and they make their cheese right on site. The tables outside had beautiful picturesque views. The restaurant was not crowded at all, and those who were there seemed to have stopped all in the middle of the rush. It also appears accessible and equipped for winter service for snowshoe hikers. The food was the best...
