Chagrin River Diner

We are a group of local widows, 9-18 members, that meet for lunch. In February we went to the Chagrin River Diner and it had the best service of any restaurant we have eaten at to date. Our server took the orders and we each got the food we requested. Our drinks were filled up on request. Everyone enjoyed their meal and I plan to go back and try other items on the menu! I will ask our planner to continue to use this diner for our lunches. We were comfortably seated, they allow separate checks which is most important in a group such as ours. The service was flawless and the food was delicious. The only thing I would suggest to the cook is to use less salt, especially in the seafood bisque.

Great restaurant, great food, great service! The portions are much bigger than many other places and the prices won’t empty your wallet! A couple lights on the front, and clear window dressings would attract more passer byes who might think they were closed! The food is all prepared at the restaurant from the very beginnings which is a rarity! Forget the white tablecloths at other places! You are paying for them! Great coffee and desserts are fabulous when available!

Definitely a go to spot for great food and good drinks! The service is always top teir and the food is absolutely awesome! Great portions, I have never left hungry or regretted anything I've ordered, they have fair prices and the waitresses are always prompt, friendly and the entire experience is worth going for. Will continue coming here any time I'm in the area!

The steak had a lot of gristle but was tasty. I enjoyed the potatoes and asparagus. It was a bit cold where we were seated and a heat lamp was turned on.Food: 4/5

Centrally located, small restaurant with a large menu, great service, and great food. Close to shopping areas. Popular every day.
