This is a very well organised self service restaurant but with a little difference. The self service part is good value, good salads and a mix of spaghetti bolognese, lovely cooked chicken and german style hot dogs .... but ... i had the steak which was cooked to order and cooked to perfection, the lasagne's were amazing and the pizza's looked very good. The mushroom sauce for the steak was excellent. The cote de provence Rose was good, the beers cold and the coffee as good as anywhere but the cafe groumand (coffee with 3 sample puds) at around 7 Euro was superb. A great place to try!
Ristorante molto vicino al parcheggio, ci si può arrivare anche a piedi. Da fuori non ha niente di diverso dai tipici ristoranti sulle piste in Francia. Molto ordinato, in legno, moderno. La vista sulle piste e sul ghiacciaio è un piacere.All'interno molto pulito e molto ampio. Il menù non è molto vasto e come molti ristoranti in Francia, in molti casi non vieni servito al tavolo.Si mangia bene per gli standard francesi. Purtroppo fatico ad adattarmi alla loro cucina. Un secondo, una birra e un caffè sono costati 28€. Prezzi in linea con quelli delle 3V.
What a pleasant surprise having tried the terrible Chalet Des Thorens and Chalet Caribou the previous days.Firstly very clean, best bathrooms on the slopes, very good selection of food and a very large external seating area. The most important point for us, the staff were polite and we did not feel as if we were troubling them. What a massive difference from Chalet Des Thorens and Chalet Caribou. Don't think twice when choosing a venue for lunch either Chalet de Caron or Chalet De La Marine.
Bien placé le long des pistes de Val Thorens, ce self offre une belle terrasse ensoleillée (enfin quand il y en a!).Les plats sont corrects, les salades à composer bien pratiques et les tartelettes framboises ou myrtille excellentes.Pour un restaurant d'altitude, la qualité est acceptable. L'addition est plutôt lourde par rapport à d'autres établissements.

Grande terrasse. On est ici sur un principe de cafeteria.Les plats, en particulier l'entrecôte sont bons et copieux.Peu de choix de vins, c'est dommage.Le personnel est agréable.L'addition peut paraitre élevée, mais nous sommes sur val tho et le rapport qualité/prix est correct.
Côté nourriture nous sommes sur un rapport qualité prix vraiment bon.Côté service il est rapide et souriant.Côté propreté c'est nickel.Côté "plus" : un genepi offert avec le café avec dégustation en terrasse face au soleil.Bref que demander de mieux ?
Beaucoup de tables pour se poser en terrasse ,mais une portion de frite à 7 euros ...et une boisson que vous payez au self mais que vous allez chercher au bar ...Prix excessifs pour 0 service..
Wonderful atmosphere, decor and service. I've had the €16 plat du jour for lunch twice this week and each time it was fantastic. Big portions and a great menu. The toilets are nice too!

Plat varier, servi généreusement par un personnel très agréable. Une immense terrasse ensoleillée. Parfait !!!
