I tried two of their pizzas for my first time here: prosciutto fig and the classic margarita. I've tried two other places like this, with the stone fired pizza, one in Oregon and one in Illinois. The crust at CHAR is thicker than I've had in the past, but they put a good amount of sauce on their pizza. The margarita was perfect on its own, but would be a great base for more ingredients. The prosciutto fig was tasty in its own right. I'm thinking the balsamic drizzle would have served better as the sauce instead of a traditional red sauce. Maybe balsamic and oil. It's unfortunate that I'm rating Char only 3 stars, because the pizza was actually really good, and a good price. I'm primarily giving them a lower rating due to how long I had to wait for our pizzas to arrive (about 20 minutes). The brick oven pizza was cooked perfectly. Everything melted and mingles well. During happy hour it's $8 per pizza if you sit at the bar, $1 for each additional topping. I've had better neapolitan pizzas, but not for less than $10. If you're looking to compare this place to other pizzas, think Blaze, Fired Pie, or Mod Pizza and then think 2-3 times better for about the same cost. I've been getting coupons for this place for years and never used them. Didn't have one today but wanted to try something new and close. It is so good!!! I love that I can half/half toppings and feel like I'm getting two pizzas. I would have liked the same amount of toppings cut smaller with better distribution but not an actual complaint. The crust was exactly what I was looking for. The ranch (a deal breaker of mine) was amazing! Which makes me excited to order a salad in the future, which I've been looking for a good salad ranch! The pizza created by Ashley and cooked by Nick was absolutely phenomenal. The toppings were excellent and very plentiful. There was an error with my pizza but the manager came out and told me how it was corrected and how a new one would be out momentarily. A few seconds later my pizza arrived and it was worth the wait. Absolutely excellent in every way. It was very easy to create the pizza and within a few minutes it's at your table. I'm from New York and I was astounded to have such a great pizza in Arizona. We will definitely be back again.

I just tried this pizza for the first time. I got a the meat lovers. Right off the bat, let me tell you this is delicious, and I am a picky person when it comes to pizza I love the thin crust, I love the flavor. The place is adorable, the little pregnant girl behind the bar just sweet as can be. The only thing I wasn?t wild about is it for $19 I think the meat lovers need to have a little bit more meat. But that will not stop me I can see me going back here easily
Update: I visited the location again today. Through my decade in the pizza business, I know a good pie when i see it. I am once again blown away from the cleanliness of the line to quality of the bake. My experience was next level. what a pie! I went here on friday and the pie was cooked to perfection. You can really tell the oven guys know what they are doing. Despite the large crowd, the pizzas came out in quick fashion.
The cooking/prepping around is very clean and organized. Upon arriving you are greet and your order is prepped then you move to the next area to pay. As for the lower start seems a bit pricey for margarita pizza spending $50 for 3 pizzas and 1 drink. As for the pizza is simple but very tasty. The red peppers with oil makes it tasty.
Friendly atmosphere and pizza was delish, the service was fast too. I have to add that the customers were even kind and friendly. Thats what I like and will return.

So amazing having a healthy fresh option this side of town. Love the atmosphere, and the food is second to none !!!! Love it !!
I can’t wait to go back again. The canoli were the best ever. Everything we tried was top notch fresh.
