Charlie's Homemade Ice Cream Burgers

Wanted to treat my daughter to an ice cream place we never tried — so decided Charlie’s since the pics looked promising.1 person was ahead of us and got 1 simple cone.To me it looked as if she was speaking a diff language to the guy behind the counter since he seemed confused as to what to do next after she ordered?Anyways a few min later when he came back …I ordered 2 small PB sundaes and it took 15 min! Two customers in front of us, both only ordering ice cream. Took us 45 minutes to get two burgers. Now I know why everyone who came after us was ordering hotdogs, as we saw about 4 of those come out before our burgers. Both burgers were basically cooked to a brick-like puck. I’m assuming no one showed the kids how to cook a burger. It really wasn’t busy for a Friday night around 6:30.The ice cream is ok. Handel’s is much better.

Food is always great the Spinach pie is the best. The breakfast specials are hard to beat for size and price. Service always timely, ambience comfortable not noisy. Believe it or not Charlie is on the job at Dussel Rd., Saturday morning! Enjoy going there, saying a lot of old friends and having breakfast.

Driving by and decided to have a vanilla shake, ended up ordering a BLT to boot! Tasty! Great place to visit, don't miss it next time you drive by. Clean.
