The last time I visited this bar was around five years ago. OMG.... what has happened to this place??? Full of chavs now, even a boxing machine to allow Kyle the local dealer show off to his girlfriends just how hard he is. You may also want to take some cleaning products in with you as there is not a single surface that isn't either sticky or dusty. I work on building sites that are cleaner than this place. I stayed for an hour, just long enough to watch the inevitable fight break out and then left. So sad to see this bar as it is now.
It reminds me of my younger years when I was going clubbing every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night down Sheffield, Rotherham or Doncaster. But also has up to date music. Good choice of drinks and it's also affordable. I was in rewind last week and loved it even at 45 i was still drinking and dancing when it was ready for closing. I would recommend going on Friday or Saturday night x
Staff are great (especially the lad at the cocktail bar the selections of beers are great as well as the mountains of gins they have. The floors not the slightest bit sticky since the new carpet got put in and the atmosphere is great!
Decent old school musical. But hygiene levels aren't a high priority. Full of young teenagers but a good laugh when drunk.
