We had a superb stay at this beautiful medieval castle. The owners, Madame Amarante Puget and Monsieur Raoul Salama, are very welcoming and really passionate about what they do. The building is placed ideally within a 10 to 30 minute drive to loads of places of interest and wonderful restaurants. However, there is no need to go far in search of fine and gastronomic food as Amarante and Raoul propose table d'hôte and the meals that they propose are delicious and exquisite. This place is wonderful. We arrived just after the covid scare, so unusual circumstances. I got the feeling that normally, it's a real hot spot with the culinary/wine community. We had the place to ourselves on the one evening we stayed.Rather than treat us (a family with three children as out of place, the owner Raoul was, instead, warm, welcoming, and quietly serious about his food and wine all with the quiet enthusiasm of the best host. No snobbery, just an eagerness to share something in our case, some very beautifully (and gently cooked local trout, and some stunning wine. This medival castle is situated in a lovely country side. The vegetable garden is amazing !The hosts are very kind and welcoming. The visit was just devine ! I was delighted to discover this charming site and recommend it highly.
the place is a charm, the castle is national monument, the very nice room, very clean and quiet. the ideal place for total relaxation! I will definitely come back!
