We booked in this hotel via a Wonderbox. The service was: luxury double room, breakfast included and late departure. About the room: we had a standard and non-luxury room if we were taking pictures of the site... When we are asked for reception, we are told that the photos of the site are those of the former owner and are not up to date... Mensonger advertising... For breakfast: lack of choice for a hotel in this category, 9:30 dried bread and croissants too cooked... In short, we are disappointed with the service that was offered to us compared to the one we had to have had
Chateau has lots of character and history, the whole place needs some investment around the decor, bedroom doors are not in keeping with the whole style of the property. We ate here the first night but it was also their first night of buffet style dinner, food taste was ok but it was very disorganised, however the staff were trying really hard, I’m sure they will improve but the food was too expensive at €26.90 each.
