This hotel looks very nice from the outside , in a garden that offers some romantic spots despite the overall lack of mantainance. We stayed for two nights in a ' garden suite'. The room was very spacious but with an unpleasant smell of humidity and a very old interior decor. Huge bathroom very comfortable but little care: for instance, they never substitute the finished soaps..The first night we had dinner inside. The food is barely acceptable and so the service. For the second night we tried to go out but everything was fully booked so we stayed again. Same food but at least outside on the terrace, which is very very nice. The place needs more care and mantainance!!
The Château is a beautifull, wit a nice salon near the giant fireplace. Very cosy. The restaurant than again isn't. Atmosphere is rather 'cold' (not enough candles, no nice decoration) and at night, you cannot see anything of the beautifull lake/garden. Why not illuminate some things, that would make it wonderfull.Staff is very friendly and helpfull, but makes mistakes you wouldn't expect in a Michelin starred restaurant. The food was OK, especially the pigeon and the xipirones. No cheese charriot..., it's a fixed cheese plate. Wine list is extensive, but offers very few non-French wines.
yes, it is not only the environment, even it was enough to eat there. The gardens, the lake, but mainly the central house where the restaurant is placed, have the special charme of well maintened old stones. High level service, discreet and efficient, and very much quality kitchen (just a little bit too experimental, but a little bit only).A really oasis near BAB airport.
This place gave us the best dining experience of the last few months. Very romantic setting, 5star service and the lunch menu was just brilliant. Best price/quality in 3 years of exploring restaurants in the SW of France. Plan to go back as much as possible. A restaurant we highly recommend for fine dining with a million dollar view on the lake of Brindos.

We went for the food which was as good or even better than expected, though the wine list was a little limited. The situation was great, the service probably acceptable but the welcome frankly disappointing. Maybe not quite as good an overall experience as we'd hoped for, but the food made the journey well worth while. It could so easily be exceptional.
Lovely setting for a restaurant overlooking the lake. Menu in French and no staff available to help in translation the evening we were there. Pigeon with foie gras, sweetbreads, fish and rabbit on the menu. Just received a one Michelin Star and obviously trying to establish itself but in our opinion it isn't there yet.
Overlooking the lake this restaurant offers well cooked food with outstanding service and at an affordable price. The foes gras "mi cuit" is exceptional. It is a hotel which is a member of the excellent Relais & Chateaux chain.
The food (1 star Michelin), the setting (overlooking the back of the property and watching the sun go down) and the service were sublime. Terrific local wine list and suggestions from the staff.

We sampled the 8 course tasting menu...delicious. The atmosphere could have been better, we had to ask the staff to dim the lights but overall happy with the experience.
the diner was excellent., very fine and tasty food. some appetizers offered were the best opening for the rest of the diner. the price is quite high
