The Count (Mr d'Armagnac) provided the tour and his wife the Countess cooked our lunch. It was a beautiful day. The meal was a Tarte des legumes, followed by Agneau, potatoes and roasted vegetables, followed by a cheese course then homeade sorbets de Fraises and framboises. Finally excellent coffee. One of our group was a vegetarian who was delighted by the meal they prepared specially for her. Very thoughtful and kind of the hosts!"
Not sure how to write this review.... In May 2008, we had a great meal at this historic chateau. Made reservations by email from North America, preselected menu, excellent meal of their own lamb. So, I made reservations for late April 2014 by email for a special meal for good friends, we arrived to find the chateau locked; called via cell phone, told there was no reservation. Extremely embarrassing, almost ruined our special outing, luckily we found another restaurant able to seat us about 10 km away. After 24 hours, with no contact by restaurant I emailed to find out, was told there was an 'emergency'; however, no attempt was made to contact me (email or phone). Was this 'emergency' true? M...
