my wife and two friends stayed in this excellent relais chateaux hotel and were not disappointed that we were happy to taste some beautiful French cuisine over the years, and that was among the best. the fact that French native and business colleagues. lucas vannier and his team produced some and beautifully detailed foods with a sublimely classic Fois gras, nested on a bed of light pure and crispy delicate twee. we enjoyed mullet, friamboise, entrecote, lamb and some amazing local and regional cheese and the maitre 'd patrick and his colleagues were attentive, happy and very professional. definitiw go back here to have a kitchen afternoon with monsieur vannier chef and thank good for a trad...
we had the opportunity to enjoy the sunset from the terrace of the castle, to drink a bottle of champagne, it was fantastic! the diner was served in the winter garden of the castle. the personal is very passionate and helpful advice on the menu: not...miss the ris de veau ... albert, the maître D’ is a top professional and knows everything about wein. the highlight is to meet the chef at the end of dinner and chat with him!
we have dined in the chateau this month and really enjoyed the experience. the dining room is beautiful and the service was as pleasant and attentive as we wished. as others have noticed, the kitchen is very good, but not exceptional. a footnote - the website indicates that diners elegantly wear to dinner in the rest. before we confirmed the reservation, I asked what that meant and was not told flip-flops.
a regular visitor in the château de courcelles, it is always with great joy, dinner in hands of a fabulous cook and excellent team, service impeccable, friendly and welcoming, the grounds with forest are my dachshund favorites in france, rooms are charming and ooze. the good old days of the castle life. I recommend this charming jewellery for anyone who travels through the champagne area at any season.
