It's wild I haven't been here in 8 years but have dreamed about the sandwiches at least 8x a week smh. I was in the area more or less (heavy on less) and made a beeline for lunch. I used the website to order The Gobbler, my fave, even though I was almost seduced by a crispy hot honey chicken sandwich. It was just as good as I remembered. Toasty turkey with little charred ends, velvety stuffing, your fave canned cranberry sauce and warm brown gravy. Sandwich was about $13. Once I picked up my order I also added a Joe's Half n Half lemonade/ice tea. Wait for it: FOUR DOLLARS!!! Honestly, that's outrageous. Making an online platform to customize a sandwich order should be convenient. Then to add you had ZERO other customers in the building during my two sandwich order, only to get it wrong is saying something. Almost impressed actually. Was excited when I heard you opened back up. Bought this as dinner for a 6 hour trip up north. Only to realize while on 287 I was given a sandwich with additives not asked for, ruining said sandwich. When a customer doesn't want vinegar, maybe, just maybe, don't put vinegar on it.
Coming back in after the horrific fire that put this place out of business for a while. The inside is beautiful. There are kiosks for faster ordering and takeout. That seems to be the way to go here. It may have lost a bit of charm but that comes with renovating! The turkey and roast beef sandwich was so fresh. I enjoyed every last bit of it. The pickle was also just so delicious. It's a pretty expensive sandwich! But extremely tasty. Happy to see them back!
I visited for lunch recently and was really impressed! I ordered through the kiosk for takeout, but my food was served as dine-in, which turned out to be a pleasant surprise. This allowed us to fully enjoy the restaurant atmosphere, each other’s company, and especially the food. The menu is extensive, offering something for everyone! The staff was very friendly, and even though they were busy, they still greeted us with smiles. I will definitely return! Book a table now
The ingredients are of high quality, but there are times when the sub roll feels a bit stale, as if it’s a day old. Additionally, the bread-to-filling ratio can occasionally be unbalanced, resulting in a bread-heavy experience.
The sandwiches, including the paninis and club, were excellent, and the sweet potato fries and onion rings were tasty as well! Great work on the recent renovations!
This is a fantastic spot for lunch! The service is fast, and the staff is consistently friendly. Prices are reasonable for the area.
