Checker Hall - Table reservation

Discovered this restaurant while seeing a band at the Lodge Room in Highland Park. Wondering around the lodge room I noticed a hidden room and was delightfully surprised to find a lovely restaurant with an amazing balcony overlooking the city. This place is very charming, perfect for a date night or a girls night out. The hummus was incredible and observing other side dishes everything looked good. I could go back and just order sides. I had the cod which was good, a tad salty but still good. My friend had the chicken and we both left happy and satisfied. The bar area is elegant, loved the music and the staff were excellent. Would definitely recommend this place and would definitely go here...

Cool Mediterranean second-level spot with low-lit vibes on the inside and airy terrace seating overlooking Figueroa. I’ve come twice to try many things and really just about every dish was a winner – from the bourekas and whipped feta to the swordfish skewer and incredible black cod. Service is generally friendly, but the food outshines just about everything.

Extremely tasty Mediterranean restaurant +bar! Dimly lit with modern decor. The Pita bread is super fluffy and the dips are delicious. The shawarma skewers were one of the best I've ever tasted and really juicy. Finally the schnitzel was amazing and good for sharing. Highly recommended!

Stunning atmosphere, very trendy and classy without being stuffy. Bartender Rae did an impressive job with a whiskey sour a delicious Idle Riot. Will return!

Cool vibe. Good artisan cocktail selection. Didn’t try the food but I’m sure it’s very good.
