We went there for lunch this afternoon. We waited in the drive thru for over 20 minutes behind a car who was waiting for his food. When we finally got up to the window, paid for our order- after asking if it was going to take a while and being assured that it wasn't, we received our food. We ordered ice cream as well for our daughters. We were asked to pull around to the other window to wait for our ice cream. We waited for 5 minutes and we were waiving at the manager, Maddy in the window and she wouldn't acknowledge us. After a few more minutes she came over, with an attitude, and stated that she knew why we were waiting, but that the ice cream machine wasn't on and they just turned it on a...
I don?t know who it was. But the woman on the PA system at 6 PM Saturday April 9th at the McMullen and 590 location decided to tell the automated system they are closed. Then she proceeded to speak to her co worker while still on the microphone saying ?I am not taking any more orders tonight. We are 5 behind ? I am very upset that they decided this in their own without getting authorization. I don?t even care that I?m not getting food. No one needs their adittude served with their food. I pulled up to the window and she refused to speak with me. She locked the window as if she was going to continue ignoring me. So I left. And the 4 cars behind me did the exact same. Tried to get their attent...
I will never come back to this restaurant again! Both my husband and I got sick after eating the disgusting burgers. When I tried to order a spicy chicken sandwich, I received a piece of chicken that was browned where it had been cut off to make the sandwich. It wasn't even a whole piece of chicken! We had to wait for 20 minutes just to be served. My husband even came up with a new name for the burger. Having worked in the service industry for most of my life, all I could think was that the food had been sitting out for a while and the workers had started eating it. Why they decided to give me their leftovers is beyond me. I am completely done with this place!
Checkers is always ghetto no matter where you go. And this was no exception. One drive thru was closed, and walk up was closed. So the only option was to go to the other drive thru that doesn?t have a menu. The chicken bites are horrendous. The crunchy chicken sandwich was dry and disgusting. One of the employees was handling the frozen burgers with his bare hands. That doesn?t really bother me actually, but maybe it should. The fries were great as usual.

5/25/22; I have placed a prepaid pickup order for 7:45 clock. I arrived at 7:10 and told them I was here. I have the order at 8:11 clock (31 minutes later.) I would have gone if I had not paid for the order and if I were not on the way to work. I always go to happiness for work early so it didn't make me late for work. eating was good and hot. for that are the 2 stars. I don't know why I waited for 9 days.
In terms of fast food, Checkers offers decent-tasting food, although their burgers tend to have a bit too much pepper for my liking, and I’m not a fan of their fry mix. However, the prices are quite reasonable. During my many visits, I've never received an incorrect order, and the staff are generally friendly.
from all the shookers I was here, is the slowest and for lunch I got popcorn huh and pommes. the huh was hard and some of the fries were too and my eating was cold, they had enough time to make fresh food and not them. so I will not come back
Wing to this Schecker and came home to eat .3miles with my family. Order 3 meal that came up to 25 and change. All 3 meals were cold and sloppy. could not even eat the food it tasted. Never back to this place???????

Lakesha was so inviting and friendly from the drive through to delivering our food at the window!!! The Big Buford’s did NOT Disappoint!!! It’s been a while since I’ve visited a checkers. I’m glad I did today!!
