If I could give no stars I would. I have had horrible service at other places before, but never have I left a review. My experience that I just had at Cheddars Fort Smith was by far the worst so I felt the need to leave a review. From start to finish it was absolutely awful. The hostess couldn’t even figure out how to sit a party of 8 with a highchair when only a few tables were already taken. Asked us if one booth was okay. We said no because we have tried that before and we end up on top of each other with no table space… instead of using the open bigger table they chose to sit us at 2 small tables pushed together. Our family enjoys dining at this restaurant, as the food is delicious. However, we have encountered an issue with the meat being overly salty on multiple occasions. I once ordered white fish that was so salty I had to send it back, which is something I rarely do. Another time, I had a steak that was also excessively salty, though I tried to salvage it by scraping off the seasoning. Last week, I had salmon that was too salty but decided to eat it without complaint. Despite these seasoning mishaps, we continue to dine at this restaurant because we love the overall experience. My boyfriend has also noted that his food has been too salty, so it seems to be a consistent issue.
I had a fantastic meal at Cheddar's! I made an impromptu stop there tonight and I'm so glad I did. Since I was dining alone, I sat at the bar where there was plenty of room. Jonathan was the bartender and he was super friendly and energetic. He poured me a nice glass of white wine. I decided to order the chicken pot pie with a salad, and both dishes were incredibly delicious. Great job, Cheddar's! Next time you're at the bar, be sure to say hi to Jonathan - he's super friendly!
I am conflicted between giving Cheddar's a '4' or '5' star rating. The service was excellent, with our waitress checking on us frequently. The food was decent, but not outstanding in my opinion. However, I ultimately decided on a '5 star' rating because of their delicious hot, honey buttered croissants. Any restaurant that serves these right after you sit down deserves a top rating in my opinion!

Yum! The service was a bit... Use the word over attentive. Or taste... But the visit wasn't bad overall. The food came out quickly. And was also hot appetizer but the portion could have been bigger. For 2. It wasn't enough.
Great food, and even better service! Lola made sure to take care of us, and ensured we always had what we needed and our drinks were always full. Definitely coming back, heck id come back for the service alone!!!
We were traveling and came in late. Near closing. Our waitress was so sweet and helpful. Before we left, she made sure we had to go drinks and gave us some croissants for the road
Very good food and staff! We had the chicken fried steak and chicken pot pie. Theu were both amazing. Great food and great portions for the price.
