Chef Hannes - Table reservation

Have enjoyed many dinners at Chef Hannes, decor is lacking but we like sitting on the sidewalk. Woefully understaffed and for a place with Chef in the name you think the atmosphere would be more food centered. Every visit we have only seen a lone table waiter, not sure what is in back. On one visit early in the summer we had a server named Emily who was personable, professional, and brought a delightful spirit to the place. Maybe she was too qualified to stay. Last night we had to endure this young dolt of a waiter that has no idea what is doing or why he is there. Food was fantastic. However the inside might need to be revamped a little. To me once you walk inside there's a musty smell? Don't really know how to describe it. Maybe from all the wood decor? Waiter was nice but spoke in a monotone voice. But overall food was excellent!

Hours say 11 to 3 for lunch but they are closed. That's not right. They need to update their hours so people like me don't make a special trip to eat here. Very disappointed.

For my birthday I chose here. Every meal is prepared perfectly to our taste each time. The food is gourmet without a gourmet price. Service is excellent. Best food around.
