Every year since 10 years we come here to lunch after our walk through the superb Malpais without any problems. This year however we were thrown of the (nearly empty) outside terrace because we had a dog. He is small, on leash and rested cuddled under the table. Last year we had tipped that same waiter well but now we were shocked : Never ever have we been treated so aggressively. So unless you’re a dog hater : stay away.
At portito de Guimar in the pre season the number of restaurants is quite limited as most of the eating places are closed. Decided to try this place on the last evening and have some regrets of not have gone there before. The food was very pleasant and the lady who served us was very kind and friendly. I do recommend this place to eat.
I'm surprised by the previous negative comments. We were 8 adults with children and it was luxurious. good service, good food and fresh fish. reasonable price, considering it is fresh fish. We ask for sardines and rich salmon. and the opinion matches the rest of the comenals.
Family of four, waiter spoke limited English. Many (smoking) locals Asked for apple juice and got sparkling apple juice/cider. Ordered one avocado salat and fresh fish for two and Tenerife potatoes. Had to send the very tasty fish back as it was undercooked. Total bill 55€ Book a table now
We were cared for by the owner's son. a lovely boy and he knows how to work. We ask for fish, marons, cods. desserts are fine. I **** by the sea looking at the dock and the tides. It is very well located.
Restaurante tradicional de esos que apetecen cuando sales de darte un baño en el puertito. Pescado frescos del día, camarones, amplio espacio al aire libre y precios con las 3 B. Totalmente recomendado.
Un sitio perfecto para almorzar. La comida deliciosa y a buen precio. Muy recomendado.
