Coming to Chef's Dynasty for a birthday Yum Cha for my wife, well worth the 40 minute drive from the Eastern Suburbs. Staff were very patient as we were waiting for one part of the party with a young child. Always a good look, when you come to a Chinese restaurant and you notice that a significant number of the patrons are Chinese. Once we got going, the carts bearing all sorts of scrumptious delights, came at regular intervals. Wide variety of delicious dishes, including seafoods, poultry, vegetarian came with regularity. No pressure from the attendants. Politely asked if we wanted particular dishes, and if we refused, staff politely moved away.dessert dishes came along and again the dishes...

we used to be here for all you can eat yum cha when it was trolley service and it was great. they have been renovated and serve themselves buffet style. I must say that the variety of food is fantastic! there stir fries, fried. noodles, roasted rice, noodles all kinds that they get at their regular yum cha, fruits, prawns!, desserts. it is a bit expensive, but I thought it was worth it. $39 per adult and $17 per child. the atmosphere was not blossoming at all, we went on a Sunday evening 530 a.m., when they just opened for dinner and there were maybe 5 more tables (of 50). it was quite empty. Maybe it'll be buffalo later? the personal was friendly enough, but really, we arent there to make f...

A spacious restaurant but small crowd on Thursday lunch hours. It's not the dim sum that impressed but the pot of tea. The less common green tea ordered may not be available in most yum cha restaurants. It turned out to be a surprise that pleased us with its quality and fragrant.Table setting was no frill with no menu nor order sheet. High ceiling gave a sense of liveliness and red lanterns very traditional Chinese. Variety of dim sum was not the strong point, nor the quality. Service was above average though even the number of staff was quite insufficient.

We visited Yum during the week, so there were not many people there. They prepared dishes quickly to order, which was nice. There was not a lot of variety for non-seafood eaters, but that was to be expected. One person in our group had a strong reaction to what we suspect was MSG in the food. I believe that Australian ingredients have enough flavor on their own and MSG is unnecessary, especially considering the negative reactions some people have. Overall, I would say Yum is decent for Sydney, but nothing particularly special. Book a table now

Unless you are of the ethnicity as the restaurant.... do not expect to be served. Chinese people served multiple times before we were served! In addition to this you place multiple orders in and the food does not come. Really regret taking chances on this...restaurant especially on Valentine’s Day. Never again, walked out very hungry and very disappointed. Of the few dumplings we did have they were nice, makes up for the obligatory one star

If you love yum cha, this place has great food and a decent selection of options. It all tasted pretty good and its buffet so you wont leave hungry. Even for a buffet, service sucked. From not seating us after taking our money, not clearing...our table, and being outright rude at one point when I asked what was in one dish that I couldnt see the sign with the description on it.

The restaurant is well-decored and clean with nice ambiance. The staff served hot food using trolley with variety of dishes to choose. Dumpling was fully filled with quality seafood. The food overall was delicious.

Crappy service in a crappy deserted ghost town shopping centreWouldn't have even gone if friends and family hadn't organized the event there.
