Chengdu - Table reservation

Besides our party, there were only 2 other customers during the 3 hours we were there Sunday between 6 and 9. Which should be prime time. This, combined with the very large dining hall made the place have a sad lonely vibe. Margarita was very well made and adequately strong. Dumplings were great. Lobster was expensive and not so good. Tip was included in the bill even though there were only 4 of us in our party. May have been done to confuse us and get us to double tip which we almost did. Old school Cantonese style Chinese. Everything was solid orange beef, Chinese eggplant, chicken with broccoli, prawns with green beans, sesame chicken. Fresh ingredients, not too salty or greasy. Only feedback the sauce was a little heavy. We were visiting from NYC this place is comparable to the restaurants in Chinatown.

Got soup dumplings, wontons in chili oil, an assortment of dim sum, Singapore rice noodles, and cabbage with dried chili. Everything was freshly prepared and delicious. We especially enjoyed the cabbage and soup dumplings. So flavorful. Great service, will return.

The only Chinese restaurant that will call you to complain that you used Doordash and they had to pay $7 instead of thanking you for giving them any business in the first place cheap and ungrateful Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
