I'm going to describe the very minute when I came in to when I left... So...ordering I can say that the cashier was a bit pushy but due to the location she's in she needs that... the crabs were done in 25 minutes just like she said, pickup was a breeze, the crabs smelled great... The quality of the crabs were good these are by far some of the best crabs I've ever had... Now the size is a different story... Some of those crabs wasn't jumbo at least half and half some were large in the mixture because it was two different sizes but I didn't say anything because it was my cousin that was buying it... But they were delicious... will I go again?... Sure I will. I just won't get any of the food be...
Literally for what this place is it's 3 stars simply based on the fact that you can buy decent fully seasoned crabs here. Now, I know what you're thinking and yup it's true. Seasoned crabs. I've eaten crabs from here a total of 3 times and I've never had a bad crab. Prices are very comparable to other crab places in the area. I like this place because it's the only place that I know of where you can call in advance for crabs. Places such as ruff and ready in MD do not allow this so the line is out the door and they do not spread the old bay seasoning around. Literally that's the only item I've eaten from here. It's a well known spot in dc just for that. Oooh and one more thing they are cash...
Last night I tried this place for the first time. My sister goes often, and based on her good feedback, I went across town to satisfy my seafood craving. The shrimp were good. I also ordered a dozen crabs, 4 of which were bad. I called today to let them know, and the woman insisted I bring the crabs in. Problem is, they were trashed last night and I live in Silver Spring. She would not accommodate me because she wanted to see the crabs, and insisted all her crabs are good. I doubt I'll be going back to a place that can't make things right with a customer.
Let’s be honest; they’re not the best crab spot in the DMV. However, I decided to order large female crabs because I figured if the crab was good, then the rest would be too. They were a bit pricey, but they were meaty and not cooked in anything too bland, so they could be enjoyed without dipping sauce, which was still acceptable. I also ordered a pound of spiced shrimp, and they turned out to be surprisingly delicious, especially with their excellent cocktail sauce! While I wouldn’t make this place a regular stop, it's definitely worth a visit.

While the outside of the place is not very appealing or welcoming, don 't let that stop you from going in. Yea it 's a carry out but I have never seen anyone order anything other than seafood from here. Best crabs in the area, hands down. Never had a bad batch from here. Make sure you call them in. Only reason I took a star away is because they take cash only. I understand why, but merchant services should really be looked into.
I will say that the regulars I got from the Continental were smaller than I usually prefer, but they were incredibly delicious. Plus, they actually gave me two dozen for the price of one, so now I have crabs for days and even had to freeze some! Overall, it's a good backup spot, but the Crab Line is definitely my favorite place!
At first glance, the exterior may not seem impressive, but remember that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. This place has some of the best crabs, crab legs, and shrimp in the area. The prices and wait are always worth it!
The health department shut them down, and the chicken you all ate was actually rat. Sorry to break the news! But hey, look on the bright side: they’re from Sri Lanka, so they probably know how to cook it well. Lol!
