I had an absolutely fantastic time at this pub! The steak I ordered was cooked to perfection. What made the experience even more memorable was the chance to meet the new manager. She was incredibly friendly and made sure everything was just right. The pub itself felt inviting, and was a perfect setting for a great meal with good company. The service was top-notch, and the managers dedication to making every member of my family feel welcome was evident. This is the 2nd visit I've made to the Cherry orchard for a while, the first was about 2 months ago for a quick lunch stop, the food was passable but the staff seemed to be bored and have no direction. I am disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. We had made a reservation well in advance for a party of 23 people ranging in age from 65 to 96 for our Christmas meal, but we were only attended to by one waitress. The service and meal were both subpar. The food was lukewarm and there was a long wait between each plate being served because the kitchen was supposedly cold and unable to handle more orders at once. Ultimately, the food ended up being cold anyway. If the restaurant couldn't handle the large booking, they should not have accepted it. I will not be returning to this establishment.
Quiz and food night on Thursday used to be great. Unfortunately now there is no manager to oversee what’s going on!! The place has gone to the dogs. Dirty toilets, long queues at the bar, long wait for food, lack of staff. And a children’s entertainer doing the quiz. A lot of the talk amongst the regular crew last night was they will be going elsewhere unless there is a vast improvement. The pub needs a manager to sort this out ASAP. Come on Marstons , get a grip
I visited this restaurant 5 months ago and was not too impressed, but Jeanette has since transformed it into a place I would like to visit more often. The Cherry Orchard is now a great place thanks to Jeanette and her team. Our experience was very enjoyable and I will definitely recommend it to all my relatives and friends. Great work!

Visited last weekend with my partner after hearing this place was under new management! What an improvement! A lovely warm welcome from the new manager and staff and service with a smile. Our meals came within a reasonable time, served piping hot and well presented. Will definitely return! Keep up the good work!

Lovely food. Kind staff always willing to help. Always clean. I highly recommend visiting here for food and drinks. I will be returning soon!
