Tonight was a special treat for me. It was late into my birthday celebration and my boyfriend and I needed a bite to eat. We stopped by Chevys on Dougals (always a staple for me growing up) and even though it was an hour to being closed, the experience was amazing! Our order was taken by Joe but he was off and the transition was seamless because Alaina took over without a hitch! I asked for an extra side of tortillas for my salsa and within seconds they were delivered fresh and piping hot. And for the cherry on top: Sonya, the manager on duty, came out to us and chat about our experience and then we has a full on conversation on restaurants and life....let me tell you this: this woman cares...
They are ridiculously understaffed. We had lunch here this afternoon and there was only one server working the entire restaurant side. Cat, despite being by herself, did a flawless job in making sure we had everything we needed. Loved her friendly demeanor. Five stars for her
Huge shoutout to Brooke for service. We were a very busy, tired, group with lots of questions, orders, changes, and requests. Food was great! My son wasn’t a fan but it’s picky. I wish I had more tomalito on my plate it’s the best!
