The food was awful. I always loved Chevy's, but this is enough to keep me out of there for good. The salsa was amazing as always, the Margherita was tasty, but not $11 tasty for a regular size drink. My tortilla soup required a ton of salt to give it any taste at all. The chili rellino was soggy. The rice was tasteless. This meal cost me $36. Not worth it at all. Not worth $5. My daughter's chicken was so dried out I could see it from across the table. She ate less than half of her meal and declined to take it home with her. When I told the server my daughter was not eating her meal because she did not like it, she just acted like it didn't happen. I didn't bother to mention how bad mine was...

Without a doubt, this is my favorite Tex-Mex restaurant in St. Louis! Make sure to visit the Tesson Ferry location. The food is outstanding, the happy hour is great, and the service is fantastic. We love Chevy's Fresh Mex! Never leave hungry. Their salsa is like no other. Wish our table didn't come preloaded with dried food bits... but we scraped them up so the next guests wouldn't have them... I know, how selfish of us ?
