We stopped for lunch on our final day at La Giettaz. The restaurant is at the very top of the La Giettaz facing side of the Col du Aravis- a real cycling mecca- with an event starting off from the car park whilst we were there.There is a large restaurant plus a decent size deck- which with the views is a better option- even if its a bit cold and windy. If you choose your table well you can find a bit of shelter.Its a very meaty menu and the food is pretty good quality- not excellent- but decent nevertheless. Between us we had the house burger and a Pork platter (diot, pork and farcemeat stuffing). Food was enjoyable- but the scenery is the reason to go here.There are other restaurants at the...
Had a couple of snacks here two days running.First was a couple of crepes and hot chocolates late afternoon – food and drink both ok.Next day after a 20km walk stopped by for some lunch but they were not serving any meals – it was only 14.30 but out of season I guess so settled for some cider and a couple of crepes again – like yesterday food and drink ok. A bit expensive but acceptable due to the location. Service was quick and friendly – views from the restaurant and terrace magnificent.
A fabulous location at the summit of Col de Aravis near the ski resort of La Clusaz in the French Alps, the view from the outside tables alone is worth coming for. On our visit, a beautiful sunny day just made it even better. An excellent salad choice (bacon bits, croutons, lettuce, tomato) and a safe burger choice (with excellent chips!), both were very tasty. Service was quick enough although at €43 for the food, two Coke Zeros and a bottle of water, it wasn't cheap.
Long and winding road with lots of S bends but the views from this restaurant are amazing - even more so if it is nice enough weather to sit at an outside table. Choice of salads, pizzas, burgers and other grilled meats and some delicious looking desserts. Service was friendly and quite quick- they are clearly used to catering for coach loads who make this a stopping point, quite understandably.

Une belle terrasse offrant un beau panorama sur le massif du Mont Blanc, un accueil sympathique, un service souriant et très bien suivi, des menus savoyards traditionnels, des assiettes bien remplies, un bon rapport qualité/prix, voici les atouts qui font de ce restaurant une bonne adresse qu'il ne faut surtout pas perdre !
Très belle situation, terrasse avec magnifique vue pour déjeuner au soleil en décembre.Accueil remarquable, un service très attentionné, chaleureux que nous avons particulièrement apprécié.Bonne cuisine, bon rapport qualité prix. Une très bonne et très belle étape.
très bon restaurant, très belle vue sur le mont blanc , malgré le monde ce jour là la serveuse s est démenée pour nous trouvé une place ,les plats gastro et excellents, le service rien à dire personnel efficace à ne pas manquer ont y reviendra
apres une journee de marche ce restaurant est parfait vue sur le mont blanc soleil excellent nous recommandons !!!! repas pris en aout 2014

We order a bottle of Bordeaux wine and the waiter brought it already open. It's a trap for tourists. Definitely to avoid.
