Firstly, I would not only recommend this restaurant for its character but also the fact that you're supporting a local farmer - who can point out his cows to you on the hill. We really enjoyed this restaurant it had a real personality to it: the farmer was warm and friendly, the interior was full of traditional French farming objects and the view was incredible. The drinks were reasonably priced compared to other cafes in the area. Despite the farmer speaking little English he tried his best to answer our questions about the local area. The highlight was seeing his milking area at the back of the restaurant and watching them bring the cows in later on in the summer evening.
Nous avons découvert ce restaurant pendant notre semaine de ski et il est devenu notre "cantine" du midi pendant tout notre séjourLes plats sont fait maison et véritablement savoyard avec un fromage d abondance de leur production. Les prix pratiqués sont plus que raisonnables et la patronne ( qui cuisine) n est pas regardante sur les proportions. Le service est impeccable et fait avec le sourire Le patron Denis est hyper agréable malgré son côté un peu "bourru"C est vraiment le meilleur restaurant de piste que j ai pu découvrir depuis longtempsPar contre, je vous conseille de réserver
Exactly what we were hoping for - a fabulous experience for our large group of 11 people - everyone left having had a wonderful meal at a very reasonable price. My fondue and salad simple perfection, a highlight of my holiday - and service friendly and efficient. Our table was next to the open kitchen and it was wonderful to see it all being cooked to order and fresh. Everything you could hope for in a mountain restaurant and excellent value. Can't wait to return one day.
Et pas seulement se régaler avec les plats locaux, on y va aussi pour l'ambiance dans ce vieux chalet-ferme, avec une mention spéciale pour l'accueil de toute l'équipe de Denis et Catherine.

Du typique savoyard. Une de nos adresses préférées sur les pistes, on y vient régulièrement. Des spécialités savoyardes avec le fromage de la ferme et de bonnes tartes en dessert.
The food was just fantastic. Simple but perfectly served. Great location, lovely views, service a bit slow but who cares? It was great.
The best food in the mountains but you have got to like cheese. Great atmosphere and great value. A must if you are skiing in Chatel
