Lovely place, hidden off the street but full of atmosphere. The two 'serveuses' were excellent, good humoured and the service was first class with the food arriving at the right pace. Not too fast and not too slow. Two of us had the chicken and the sauce was to die for, very strong with a good taste of tarragon and plenty of it. I was a bit disappointed with the chicken which was still on the bone and quite difficult to remove without picking it up. The wine was excellent as were the other courses we ordered and thoroughly enjoyed. Six of us ate here on a Monday evening. We chose this place as it was close to the Midi Canal and had reasonable reviews.The waitress was friendly and helpful but the food was extremely disappointing. The servings were small although the prices high.My meal was 'spicy chicken' but was a leg of chicken cooked in a cream, mustard sauce with two tiny pieces of overcooked carrot and two equally overcooked potatoes which had been re-heated. Desert was ok but appeared to not be prepared on the premises. Not worth 25 euros.
Where to start?! The white fish in lemon sauce smelled exactly like floor cleaner and tasted terrible as well. With the consistency of paste it defines the word horrid. The chicken was RAW and slimy, look at the photos. Trip Advisor gave this place a "4" in 2015 but things have changed for the worse, maybe the janitor was cooking that night. If you value your well being skip this atrocity. YIKES!! (I never have given a restaurant this bad a review and hate doing it)

I had lunch here a bit nervous because of mixed reviews on trip advisor but food was delicious I had two starters and a dessert and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the croquet monster and the prawns follow by the tiramisu interpretation. Service was friendly and prompt
Not in the main tourist area but worth visiting and easy to find.Excellent smallish menu - all freshly prepared and with good local wines and craft beers.Friendly quick efficient family service and nice atmosphere - not the cheapest but one of the best
