among all the corks of the old lyon it is often difficult to make a choice. at Grand-Mère a few steps from the tumult of St. John Street offers a moment of calm in a pretty vaulted cellar. The welcome is charming and the smiling service. the card is well filled and offers several menus. all the dishes we ate, from the entrance to the dessert, are hearty and very good qualities. we had opted for the menu at 25€90 which offers local dishes as nationals with a good bottle of Beaujolais. The addition was not at all excessive and this restaurant does not resemble the tourist trap at all.
