Chez Jack - Table reservation

As a Swiss cook who participated in the culinary school in Paris, I hunted a few French convenience foods and went to Chez Jack for all great reviews. The decor is sweet and cozy, you hear cheerful French music in the background. You start... with baguette and butter... the baguette is supermarket quality, but okay. I had ordered Coquille St. Jacques, who is a very well-known French court: if you google, you will see that this is a scallop dish. The name itself is the name of a scallop. To my big surprise I got a scallop shell, but no scallop. Instead, the bowl was filled with small shrimp and surimi (like crab I absolutely hate) in a sauce, baked with cheese. I knwe the resaturant by recomendation... amazing intimate bistro enviroment, with beautifull decoration provided by costumers. The restaurant is owned by three French Brothers, who mades only family recipes really well made. I eat one Entrecote with blue cheese that was superbe, besides that, tipical...french music provided by a professional guy. If you like french cousine, it is a Must go in Bogota
