Very regularly I eat with Jean et Chantal. Nowadays they are open on thursday friday saturday and sunday for lunch. Yesterday we were so lucky to eat outside in the sun. It is always busy in this restaurant. It is a very extensive meal, but not too much. Quality is good and service is brought with a smile. The guests on my table already wanted to order coffe with the cheese, but the owner said he had to wait, because there would still be dessert after the coffee!! You eat what they serve you, so no choice, but it is always good.
This used to be my all-time favorite restaurant. My dad and his friends went once a week during the summer in the early 2000s. Jean and Chantal were the best: the food was absolutely wonderful (several courses for a prix fixe), and the atmosphere sitting under the beautiful tree was unbeatable. My dad has since passed, and I am hesitant to go back because of the many memories and because it looks like there are new owners. Hopefully, they will continue the legacy of this enchanted place.
We love this place. Good old fashioned Provençal cooking.€16 menu. You get what you're given. Love it. Charcuterie,dish of the day,cheese and dessert. Wine used to be included but you have to pay now. Still cheap. You eat in the courtyard at the back under the biggest tree you have ever seen. It has been shored up with concrete as it is vital for shade. A must if you are staying in this area.One of our favourite eateries.
I live in the area permanently This is a simple good restaurant. In general I think the simple restaurants in the area are not that great. A 4 course meal for less than 15 euros. They do not make so much change in the menu. A starter charcuterie or vegetables, a casserole of some sort, cheese and a selection of desserts. Nice friendly efficient
