This is a chain, so what’s true here may not true elsewhere. Apart from the beer; apparently the recipe is the same in all their outlets, the ingredients are the same, just the water (and the ambiance makesthe difference. But this is not a Brit pub, it’s a restaurant. Yes, you can sit at the bar. But generally, you are served 'à table '. And whilst the attention 'à table ' is (mostly what you’d expect, you struggle to get attention if you’re just drinking the beer. I ate here one night, I just supped beer the second. I can say that my meal the first night was adequate, no more. But the beer … as an Englishman who loves his Brit beer living in France (where they do not know what good beer is...

It 's my special place whenever i arrive to clermont-ferrand. the worst part of the place is that the employees doesn 't speak English very well, if they speak at all. there is no English menus but the staff tries their best to explain the dishes. they craft their own beer, and i really recommend Bier a la pom which is beer with apple aroma. the food portion is quite large and the prices a quite low for the area. i bought 3 bottles of craft beer (750ml) for 11 Euros. great burgers and steaks and really corrupted desserts full of sugar. if you look for good place to eat and drink, this is the place.

Ate here as a convenient option next to stopover hotel and were really pleasantly surprised. Nice range of beers on offer and a good choice of sizes (as Brits we are used to pint or half pint! . We both had a kind of local flan dish which was delicious. Atmosphere was nice and prices were reasonable. Only downside was the waiter kind of disappeared and then seemed to be ignoring us when it came to settling the bill, wouldn't normally be a big deal but after long day driving we just wanted to get back to our hotel and sleep! Would return.

Friendly, popular with families and young and old alike. Can recommend the beer we tried the 'blonde ' and 'ambree ' and both were excellent. Avoid the andouillette unless you know what it is and know that you like it!
