We ussually go to Bayonne for "Faire du Jambon". For 3 years in a row we have gone to this place because food is good. However, the experience this year has been more than disappointing. After booking a table for 1400 (we asked the day before the latest hour to attend), when arrived, the unpolite waitress said our table was for 1300. Instead of accepting their mistake, and give our party of 5 a table of the many available, the very Own Chez Martin himself said it was our mistake and only possibility was to eat outside with not a very good temperature and definitely not a good table. The chef, Lionel, is well known on french television for his love of cooking and great creativity. During a visit in Bayonne, you should definitely make a reservation to visit this small and cute restaurant.

very good restaurant, small dish simply because the raspberries announced in the clafoutis were replaced by strawberries without warning because we would have taken something else.
