We were recommended this gem over 20 years ago when Maurice was still in Mosman. Even though we live a long way from Balgowlah now we still come here when a special restaurant is required. It's all about the food and the service. Have never had anything but superb food at a great price. The complimentary pate is very welcome. If you like meat you MUST try the pepper steak or the chateaubriand . Oh and if you ask a few days beforehand Maurice will make his fabulous Bombe Alaska . Go... You won't be disappointed (or hungry afterwards)
this is the place to go if they like traditional French dishes, such as escargot, french wobbles, chateaubriand, bouillabaisse, crêpe suzette, crème brûlée. it is a beautiful French cuisine. then the menu has not changed much over the years and therefore we come back again and again, we know what we get.
A wonderful little neighbourhood restaurant. The food was exceptionally good. The waitress serving us was delightful, and the service faultless, even though there were nine of us. We will definitely be back. Recommend the salmon, and the fresh fruits with sorbet.
