We stopped in Abbeville while on our way back to Calais. We came across Chez Mel as we drove across Abbeville. On the outskirts of the main centre this is a small restaurant selling sweet and savoury crepes as well as omelettes. It was packed when we arrived at 1pm so it took some time to serve us. The food was great and good value for money. My wife had omelette and chips, I had the all-in savoury crepe (bacon, cheese, steak hache, etc.) and my daughters had a ham and cheese crepe and a steak hache with chips. All arrived hot and tasty. We ate at Chez Mel instead of at our hotel and it was a pleasant experience. My husband and I both had the Tartiflette crepe which was quite good. The restaurant space is small so we struggled with our pushchair. We were able to fold it up and the hotel was willing to just keep it at the bar. But the space in general can be a bit tight around the tables. The waitress and guy behind the bar were very friendly. We are pleased we ate here instead of at the hotel as it gave us an authentic experience.
Chose to eat lunch here based on previous TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. The gentleman serving was very busy but very friendly. We had one savoury and one sweet crepe. They were clearly freshly prepared and cooked. They tasted delicious and were very filling. Washed down with a pear cider and a cappuccino. All for €26.50. Would definitely recommend.
Understand why this restaurant is rated No.2 of restaurants in Abbeville. The place is very well kept, clean and tidy with nice decoration. Charming, attentive waiter who had everything under control! Tasty food at a reasonable price. Nice little touches with attention to detail! Would recommend - you will not be disappointed!

Suggested by our hostess at Au Jardines De 2 Ponts we ate here and were delighted . Renowned for the crepes this restaurant offers a large selection from which to choose. The owner was very stevie and helpful and we are very happy to recommend this place for a really great and inexpensive meal
Hard to find a restaurant open in Abbeville at 9 at night , this was the first one. Mostly served pancakes, but their pancakes are huge, stuffed with tasty fillings and delicious. The waiter was pleasant and friendly and even recommended us a hotel!
Had dinner hear after a 6 hour drive up from the South, great value for money and the crepes on offer are fresh and filling, a good selection of craft beers is also available. Great spot, will return next time we're in town.
Really good restaurant, nice atmosphere, nice service. I would like to recommend this restaurant and so good tasty crepes and galletes with Cider. We was there in the October in the evening for dinner.

We stayed on night in Abbeville and needed to eat. Found this restaurant and we got a table. We ordered galettes and the were big and really good. Nice service too!
Ficelle Picard with some kind of mushroom pate' was delicious, as well as the chocolate crepe and the dry cider. All crepes chosen were appreciated.
