The restaurant staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The table was a bit crowded, but overall the experience was great. Unfortunately, my entree was not up to par, although the bread and pate provided were excellent. The onion tart was tasty, but the puff pastry was soggy. The sand dabs I ordered were delicious, but I wish I had known about the sauce beforehand so I could have requested it on the side. The plate was a bit messy with the sauce mixing in with the potatoes and carrots. My husband's Osso Bucco was fantastic. We were too full for dessert, but the desserts we saw looked amazing. We will definitely be returning next time we are in town.
A group of friends met for dinner. While 3 of the dinners were exactly as ordered, the fourth dinner which was supposed to be sweetbreads looked and tasted like kidney. To the extreme disappointment of our friend. When we pointed this out the waiter only suggested my friend order something different which he did. It was brought to the table quickly as the rest of us were all ready eating.
The food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and they had a good variety of wines to choose from. We had a lovely dinner and will definitely be coming back.
There are many types of organ meats that are not typically found on restaurant menus here! We can't wait to come back and try everything!
