I really loved the atmosphere in this little restaurant that was suggested to us by our lovely hostess at Chateau des 5 Cantons.As stated in the title and by others, the focus of this restaurant are truffles, which you can enjoy in different (and sometimes, unusual) pairings.The service was quick and courteous. It just took a while to get the bill at the end of the evening, so we went straight to the cashier - which is totally OK in France.
Delightful restaurant in Carpentras. Outdoor tables in vinecovered courtyard with olive trees in planters. Small but charming. Run by Chef/Patron Serge who takes care to speak with everyone and ensure all enjoy his excellent cooking. A passionate chef who has an exceptional wine list and passion for truffles. V. good value set menu. Popular among locals and worthy of it's michelin write up.
How to say... refined dishes, a welcome and attentive service, a pleasant setting and a room plan that preserves your privacy. You have understood, it is obliged to stop there, forced to succumb to the fun mouth to the truffle, which strongly signals that you will feast. And that's true.
