Recommended by our hotel we made a reservation for dinner for a table with a view of the sunset and were not disappointed by the food or the view. The anchois appetizer, and loup and dorade for dinner were all excellent. You can ask for a green salad, which was also great. Try some of the local wine, which was also excellent. Some of the other restaurants have seats on the beach with umbrellas, which block the view, but not here.

We loved this place so much, we ate there twice in 2 days. The service from the waitress was excellent and so helpful. The food was good, not incredible and we would have liked more seafood to choose from, but what we did eat was well cooked and good quality. We preferred the wine from the list than the wine in the carafe, and it wasn't much more expensive.A lovely place to sit and enjoy the beautiful view.

We sampled a number of restaurants in Collioure over the last week but Chez Simone was the only one we came back to. It's good! The tapas have a twist which makes then mouth-wateringly good! Highly recommend the Tuna - wow! Also the Pork dish and the noodles. Not what you expect for tapas but so so good. Well worth a visit but book because it gets busy!

This restaurant used to be reliably pleasant. Not now. I ate a decent piece of fish but the veg garni had some sort of curry flavour. Glass of white wine was horrid. Worse, the noise from staff and a group of blokes bawling and shouting, plus loud 'Amy Winehouse' on a loop - is that what you want in a tapas bar?Shall strike it off my reliable list. Book a table now

Sitting out in the evening with a white wine sangria eating fresh and tasty tapas is just heaven . Get a table at the front ( not on the other side in the town) is the best seat in the house at Chez Simone. Just visited last weekend and had a great evening watching the world go by and the sun set over the castle. Just perfect.

Strict team, serious restaurant, talented kitchen brigade. I really enjoyed my visit to this establishment. I was accompanied by my brother and his wife and we were unanimous. This is a lovely establishment. We eat very well with sometimes atypical but nevertheless delicious dishes.

A wonderful location for a restaurant, overlooking the harbour in Collioure. The service and food were very good. In Britain it would be the equivalent of a seaside cafe but here in France staff have the ability to make you feel special. A very high standard of cuisine.

Front row seats for a great few over the beach of Collioure. Friendly staff and good coffee. Prices are on the high end, but that's to be expected at the beachside.
