Chez Vrony - Table reservation

We came here for lunch two days ago (June 27) while doing the 5 Lake hike. It's a bit of a detour but nothing too much and totally worth it. I think all the reviews say this, but it's just so amazing and special. The ambience is so unique like fancy high alpine design meets hiking casual. It's fur throws, feathers and picnic tables. The food is beyond. We got the meat and cheese boards and the burgers . . . I highly suggest splitting the burgers even the small is giant. We missed out on dessert because we ate too much of the food, ha ha. Beware if you drink alcohol and plan to hike back up to the lifts it's just a bit harder!!! But all part of the challenge. Don't miss this!

had a marvelous experience! amazing food and a fantastic experience too. i would highly suggest this space if you are comfortable with pushing for what you need. i was very firm on asking for what I needed and if you have symptomatic celiac, i suggest you do the same. I got the tartar and the sweet and sour chicken, but asked for my chicken to be covered in the oven, as I am very sensitive to cross contamination. They are more than willing to be accommodating and kind. don’t be worried to ask for what you need!!!

Fantastic place on the mountain, amazing views, amazing setting, and amazing food. This is a must for any traveler coming to Zermatt. Book ahead in the winter, summer is a little easier to get a table. Having been coming to Zermatt for over 20 years, and now living here, this is the place to stop during your summer hikes or winter skiing. Truly one of our mountain favorites.

the intention and location are a star throughout the day. super disappointed that we did not know that we needed a reservation to order food. we had to sit outside and we.

Teriyaki beef and sweet and sour chicken gluten free both very good but expensive, nice atmosphere
