This is a simple spot for dining in or taking out, and they serve excellent fried chicken! The dining area may not be extravagant, but it is clean. The staff is very friendly, and our order was prepared fresh while we waited. The chicken pieces were perfectly cooked—not overly breaded, crispy, hot, and juicy. The chicken strips were tender and flavorful, with a nice crunchy exterior. It's a great little restaurant for an affordable meal, popular with locals who return often. We discovered it while passing through and would definitely come back.
We come here often. Easy to get in and out and good food....new review.. Went for dinner today. It was not good. Perch was overcooked in my order. It was literally tough. Granddaughter had the clams.. and we also had okra. If you weren't looking you would not know which one you were eating. They tasted the same. I hope this was just a one time coincidence. We've always liked this place.
Longtime fan but this experience was poor. Friendly service but place was filthy. No tables cleaned and had to clean one myself to sit, despite employees congregated and talking behind the counter. Trash was full. Floor was dirty. Kids needed direction. Watched as others arrived to try and find a clean table, but couldn’t. Chicken was decent but the mashed potatoes were like soup.
Gosh was delicious with a tartar sauce hot sauce mix made it that much better! The chicken was phenomenal! The fries got juice and flavor from being underneath the chicken so those were amazing too! Can't wait to move down to that area and start eating there regularly!

Fantastic food. You definitely get your money worth, large pieces of fish and chicken . Great staff. I will definitely become a regular. Drive thru service is great !
I really enjoyed my food! However, the woman at the drive-thru was rather rude. Usually, everyone is very friendly when I visit, but that wasn't the case this time.
Everything was great. Dining table needed to be wiped down, but clearly the staff was super busy with customer orders. Would definitely visit again.
