I walked into the restaurant and ordered a chicken-only meal, but my order was placed at the back of the queue. The staff prioritized a JustEat order over mine, even though the JustEat order was still being prepared. The young man serving me seemed disorganized and uninterested in his job. When I asked why he couldn't just quickly give me my order before attending to the JustEat order, he insisted that the JustEat order was a priority. I usually order from Nandos, but for some reason it was not available for delivery. I decided to try Chicken Cottage instead, as the chicken looked appealing on their website. I ordered half a chicken with corn on the cob. The delivery arrived 30 minutes earlier than expected. The driver was friendly, but despite advertising contactless delivery, the driver handed me my food instead of leaving it at the door, and did not adhere to the two-meter distance. The chicken was warm, but the corn on the cob was very cold, as if it had just been taken out of the fridge. My first impression of Chicken Cottage was not as good as I had hoped, as Nandos chicken has much more flavor. It's a shame!
I'd say this take away is better than average but not quite very good. We called here for a snack while we were out drinking I had chips and mozzarella sticks which were cooked fresh and tasty and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly One couple who were staying in to eat had to ask for their table to be cleaned before they ate it might have just been the time that we visited where the staff hadn't got time to keep the place spotless..

I stopped going here because the staff were quite happy to let drugged up street people shoot-up, or fall asleep in the one and only customer toilet, situated about 2 meters from the kitchen. So after tasting the over greased up chicken the whole atmosphere and food was ruined.
I have noticed a big improvement in this restaurant. The chicken is delicious and the service is quick. I cannot find any faults with it. I had stopped going here for many years, but it is now under better management. Keep up the good work.
Over 2 hours to deliver my food!! Tried to call the place 54 times and had nothing but an engaged line even just eat tried to call them with no luck!!! Food eventually arrived stone cold!! Highly unacceptable never eating here again!!
A reasonable quality of food for a fast food place, although the bun was of poor quality, the food was hot and freshly cooked and the service friendly. The seating area could do with a clean though.

Very good meal had takeaway from here all food tasted fresh and delivery time to my house also very fast. Would eat from here again to see if the quality is consistent
After having closed down for a while in August the food has certainly improved and my meal was very nice. Cleaner and the sauce bottles filled up unlike before.
