I've tried 5 mediterranean restaurants in Las Vegas so far and Chickpeas is by far the best in every regard. The staff are always friendly (if a little overly busy) The portions are large The food tastes great The food is authentic (according to my Lebanese and Greek friends who approved this review) While some restaurants offer a larger variety of options, Chickpeas absolutely has the best seasoned, most well cooked food in the city at this price range. The shawarma is always phenomenal with fresh, well stored vegetables and perfectly chewy pita. The kebabs are a little on the pricy side, but expertly cooked and exploding with flavor. Their pizzas, likewise, have a rich smoky flavor from th...

I visited this restaurant while my car was being detailed across the street. The staff was very welcoming, and the atmosphere was quite relaxed. I ordered the lamb shawarma, which was bursting with flavor—exactly what I was craving. However, I did have a few disappointments. The buffet ingredients were not as fresh as I would have liked; the lettuce had oxidized. While it's still safe to eat, I expect a higher standard from restaurants than what I maintain in my own kitchen. Furthermore, the lamb itself wasn’t fresh and was quite dry. While it worked well in the sandwich due to the delightful flavors, eating the lamb on its own was not a pleasant choice. Overall, I enjoyed my meal enough to...
I've been to Chickpeas Mediterranean Cafe before and appreciated that the food is served hot and fresh. However, I felt it lacked a certain wow factor. Today, we ordered a mixed Koobideh Kabab plate with an extra beef skewer and a Shiraz salad. The food was tasty, but I was quite surprised when the plate came with a very small pita bread, roughly the size of my palm (2-3 inches round). I joked if that was all the bread we'd get, and the server confirmed it was. My friend ended up paying extra for additional bread at the counter. Considering it's a Middle Eastern restaurant, I think they should provide a more generous portion of bread.
I used to visit Chickpeas Mediterranean Cafe regularly since it’s close to my home and the food used to be good, but lately, the quality has dropped significantly. The flavors are off, the customer service is practically nonexistent, and it feels like they’re not making any effort to enhance the dining experience. Today, I ordered a chicken dish that was so bad I had to throw it away. They seriously need to revamp their operations or think about shutting down. Book a table now
Absolutely delicious! A few years ago, a friend and I became curious about a Mediterranean restaurant where we both worked, and we discovered that, much like other ethnic cuisines, the flavors can vary greatly depending on the region. I had some concerns since I was employed there and wanted to clarify a few things. However, I eventually came across this restaurant, and I highly recommend giving it a try—you won’t regret it!
This is a horrible place, first let's start by that they false advertising certain menu items and not giving you exactly what I paid for.. I order a rack of lamb, when I went in to pick it up, the order lady say lamb expensive..so I give you other meat... right off back a red ?.. this is not a good place to eat.. so be aware and stay away!! There are farther more authentic Mediterranean food else than here
I wish I had tried the Mediterranean burger much earlier—it’s incredibly juicy and delicious! However, some things have changed over time, like the portion sizes. I recall when fries were included with the shawarma plate and there were plenty to enjoy. Now, they’re sold separately, and you get a noticeably smaller portion. Nonetheless, I'm still a loyal customer!
I truly love the warm hospitality from Iman and the staff at Chickpeas Mediterranean Cafe. The appetizer was among the best Mediterranean dishes I've ever tasted. The cozy outdoor seating area adds an extra charm to the experience. Book a table now
