The location is convenient, situated near a mall with free parking. The interior decor is beautiful, and the restrooms are clean. However, the first issue we encountered was the lack of prices on the menu, which feels unfair to customers. The prices are quite high, with three birria tacos costing $16, and they were overly greasy and salty. On the other hand, the chicken burrito was enjoyable and reasonably priced at under $11. The seating was not very comfortable; either the tables were too high or the chairs too low. Additionally, they only provided disposable utensils, with no real plates for sharing. There were also no cups for free water, unlike what you might find at places like Tang...

Everything was fine, if not bland. The proportions in the burritos were terrible, very little pico, carne asada (despite the upcharge), or guac (again, despite the upcharge). The lengua was tender and well cleaned, but was barely seasoned and could've used a little sear or something. If it were relatively inexpensive, I wouldn't care, but a $15 burrito shouldn't be 70% rice. There's a dearth of good Mexican food in the area, but it's worth driving to places like Taqueria El Amigo to get the good stuff. Even Los Amigos right in Newton is light-years better, and less expensive.
Overall, this is a fantastic Mexican restaurant. It seems that many customers prefer takeout here. The interior is charming and very clean. The menu offers a wide variety of options, including tacos, burritos, salads, bowls, and even enchiladas. They also feature some specials, such as Birria tacos and churros. Additionally, there's a kids' menu available for families. One thing to keep in mind is that it can be quite pricey; for instance, two tacos cost $16. However, they do come with plenty of toppings.
Five stars for the lengua!! Yay!!! The lengua was fantastic! Minus two stars: they got our order wrong and claimed we said it wrong, when they definitely heard us wrong. They gave us chicken tacos instead of fish tacos. We definitely said fish. I would never say the words chicken and taco in the same sentence. Have never eaten a chicken taco in my entire life. We took a bite since they refused to switch it out for fish, and it was dry and barely edible, as expected for a chicken taco. Book a table now
We chose this restaurant after reading the reviews on Yelp. We ordered a chicken tinga burrito, two tacos with Chile verde, and a tostada with grilled chicken. The food was excellent, and we will definitely return. The flan looked tempting, but we were too full to try it this time. We'll make sure to have it on our next visit! We’re also looking forward to trying some other items on the menu.
This restaurant consistently delivers excellent and fresh food. I've been a fan for years! You can't go wrong with any item on the menu; we've tried just about everything over the years. Their breakfast burrito is one of my all-time favorite dishes.
The birthday dinner was delightful! I had the lamb with wild pilaf, and my companion enjoyed the cod. We also had a few perfectly sized dessert shots to finish off the meal. The service was excellent, from the host to our server.
Good Mexican restaurant with fresh and delicious food! Tried couple of times and always enjoyed. People are nice and friendly. Outdoor seating available. Book a table now
This restaurant is fantastic! The burritos are incredibly fresh, and the prices are surprisingly affordable. I highly recommend checking it out!
