We moved to the Des Moines area about 8 years ago and have tried to find an Asian restaurant that could come close to our favorite one in Ohio. I think we’ve gone to every Asian restaurant in the Des Moines area, always walking away disappointed.FINALLY! China Cafe is now that restaurant!Our food was hot, flavorful, and the best we’ve had in 8 years. The cheese and shrimp rolls are the best. The food was hot and delicious.The dining room was cold.Didn't get a fortune cookie because we waited so long for our bill we went straight to the counter.Food: 5/5
This is the second time the food is over an hour late. They tell you one time and it's late. Not because they're busy, but because they forget about delivering it. Never again!Food: 3/5
