I have dined at this restaurant a few times and I must say, the quality can be inconsistent. Some days the food is great while other days it's not so impressive. During lunch, the hot food selection mostly consists of chicken, with the exception of sushi and a few other items. Dinner offers a bit more variety with a focus on seafood. The restaurant is usually busy, especially during dinner service. I personally find the lunch buffet to be more worth it as I am not a fan of seafood. This was my first time trying this restaurant. Overall, the food was good, but I am very picky about egg rolls. My mom is also particular about egg rolls, so we were both disappointed to receive two different kinds instead of the one kind we ordered. This is why I am deducting two stars from my review. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the generous amount of shrimp in the Sweet and Sour Fish dish. It made for a perfect Christmas Eve dinner inspired by "A Christmas Story."
I usually don't order from this restaurant, but after a bad experience with another place, my kids and I were in the mood for Chinese food. I usually prefer to go in and get a to-go buffet, but this time I decided to try delivery. I have always enjoyed the variety of options on the buffet, so I was pleasantly surprised when my delivery order arrived correctly and with no issues. I will definitely be ordering from here again for delivery in the future.
Really enjoyed my order! it arrived quick and in tact! This was the first time I have ever had china garden and I was not disappointed. I will say that whatever was used on the chicken on a stick was seeping through the packaged so maybe it could have been packaged better but other than that everything was great. We had the C18. Not much of a buffet selection. Asked for tea refill, asked again when leaving for the same undelivered tea as a to go. Server took tip off table before they took bill. And then took longer than necessary to return our card . To top it off I came back to hotel and threw up. Something wasn 't settling well. Cured my fried rice craving for sure. Also no duck sauce or sweet n sour sauce. Don 't recommend.....
It's not the worst place I've eaten but far away from the best. Won't go there again. Other people might like it but if you like Chinese, go to Charleston to the mall with the DMV around 56th SE and eat in a nice restaurant, where the food is good, the service is good and it's alot cleaner and the people are friendlier.
This is a wonderful family owned Chinese restaurant they don't have a lot of extravagant food but for a buffet they have everything that you would want the food is good but there's nothing really notable about this restaurant besides the people that own it. They are very good people in this area
I ordered the spring rolls, mixed sushi roll, and the pineapple shrimp and black pepper chicken. The spring rolls and sushi were both delicious, fresh, and perfectly made. However, the entrees were terrible.

The take-out option is superior to the buffet at this restaurant. The Roast Pork Lo Mein was amazingly fresh, with a good combination of vegetables and a delicious umami flavor.
Excellent place to relax and eat the atmosphere is brilliantly comfortable and the prices are equally fair highly recommended to everyone who enjoys Chinese food
