This restaurant has definitely changed since its previous ownership. I recently ordered shrimp fried rice, but unfortunately, the shrimp and vegetables were undercooked, and the rice tasted old. When I took my order back, the staff member informed me that they keep the shrimp in the fridge overnight and then cook it twice, which left me surprised. She insisted that they always cook it well done, so I asked, “Why not prepare a fresh order instead?” Instead of making a new dish, she said they would just cook it longer. I decided not to argue and let them handle it, but it was disappointing to say the least.
I ordered a $35 pickup order from here. I got a text message confirmation when my order was ready. I went inside to get my order and they had no record of my order. I showed the employee my confirmation text and she said it did not come from them. When I called the number I got the text from,, their phone rang, and it matched the number listed on the door. They did not refund me, or offer to make my food.
Horrible tasting/tasteless waist of $42.23. My whole order of chicken egg foo young was one with no meat, one with small pieces of chicken and ham I have not tried the last one. The kids plain fried rice and chicken fried rice was orange, the beef and broccoli was horrible and the shrimp was slimy in another order. No one was pleased with their dinner. China House will not get any more of my money.
That China House in Brighton is the Best that food is so fresh and good everything ordered was hot and good my food was delicious Love this place and I will go back and tell friends and Family about that China House in Bridgeton they are better than the China House in Dellwood in St Louis way Way better than their store in Dellwood plaza

Very good food and I've been coming here for years and still the same flavor, quality and portions. Always amazing customer service and they have a very large menu of items to try. The special fried rice is wonderful and the beef and broccoli is great. You will love the food, so stop on in.
I had a great experience with their food during my first visit on December 31, 2021. I will definitely be going back. The prices are also quite reasonable.
Everyone one was so nice and very courteous of my diet. Vegetable Lol Mein was delicious. Will definitely be coming back when I go back that way
This is the worst fried rice and chicken I've ever had in my life. I'll never come back again. Why is the rice yellow?
